Gianni Morbidelli gets maximum success ballast

Gianni Morbidelli will carry maximum success ballast in the next TCR International Series race at Valencia on May 3rd.

The WestCoast Racing driver was the most successful driver in the previous race at Shanghai with pole position, victory and a third place.

The result means that he will carry 30 kilos extra in his Honda Civic in the coming race, with SEAT drivers Andrea Belicchi and Stefano Comini carrying 20 and 10 kilos respectively for being the second and third best scoring drivers in Shanghai.

The success ballast is separated from the weight of the balance of performance that will be added or subtracted on top of the success ballast weight. The BOP is calculated on average lap times of car models and uses the parameters of weight, air restrictor and ride height.
