Proteam Racing and Zengo Motorsport to sit out of Valencia

Proteam Racing and Diego Romanini will not take part in the first European round of the TCR International Series in Valencia, Spain.

The Italian team await new updates on the Ford Focus in order to make it race-ready. Due to the short turnaround between Valencia and the next race in Algarve, Portugal, which is next weekend, Proteam are likely to next take part in the series in Monza, Italy, with two cars.

Norbert Tóth and Zengo Motorsport will also be absent from the Valencia weekend, bringing the field down to 17 cars.
