James Dodd promoted to second with revised grid

James Dodd will start round seven of the HSCC Super Touring Car Trophy from second on the grid after originally being shown as seventh in qualifying.

Dodd was originally shown in seventh on the first time sheets, having swapped cars with his father after a driveshaft issue forced his ex-James Thompson Honda Accord out for the day.

During James Dodd’s laps in his father Graeme’s car, he set the second fastest time, but the time was swiftly deleted with the times after the driver change being disallowed.

Following a decision from the stewards, James’ time was reinstated and the grid was revised, meaning Dodd now joins Stewart Whyte on an all-Honda front row.
