PWR Racing unveils SEAT Leon STCC race car

PWR Racing and SEAT Sweden have unveiled the first images of their new SEAT Leon STCC race car for the 2016 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season.

”When the opportunity came to develop the new body shell for the team, our decision to get involved was easy. It is with great pride that we take part of the team’s programme in the STCC,” said Ronnie Madsen of team partner Combitech.

The design of the silhouette car is based on the SEAT Leon model, with the chassis and technical components being common with the other cars of the championship.

The team raced two Saabs last season for team co-owner Daniel Haglöf and Emma Kimiläinen and secured a four-year contract with SEAT Sweden starting from this season.

The team has not yet confirmed the number of cars or drivers for this season, but Haglöf, Kimiläinen and former BMW driver Fredrik Larsson have been rumoured to be set for the seats.
