Brink Motorsport confirms two Audis for 2017 STCC

Brink Motorsport has confirmed the entry of two Audi RS 3 LMS cars for the 2017 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season.

”It feels incredible to lift Brink Motorsport to a new level and we feel ready to challenge the bigger teams in the STCC next season,” said team manager Ted Brink.

The team has confirmed both drivers in the form of former STCC privateer driver Micke Ohlsson and former support class Camaro Cup champion Tobias Brink.

”I have felt a stronger surge to race on Swedish ground again and the cooperation with Brink Motorsport is the one I have waited for. We will do everything in our power to fight for the top spot of the podium,” said Ohlsson.

”I haven’t raced for four years and the last time I drove a front-wheel driven car was in 2007. We are taking on this challenge with humility, but at the same time we are not here to fill out the grid,” said Tobias Brink.

The entry of Brink Motorsport raises the number of cars entered for the 2017 STCC season to eight cars so far.
