Andersson continues with Alfa

Mattias Andersson has confirmed that he will continue in his Alfa Romeo 156. This is the second year that Mattias runs this Alfa in the STCC. For 2005 it will be upgraded in several ways.

“I have carefully looked over the option to get a sequential gearbox and change from the usual H-gearbox. It´s a tough decision since the sequential gearbox costs around 400.000 kronor. Other than that we are of course looking over every detail in the car and improving some here and there,” Mattias said.

There could be a guest apperance for Mattias in the WTCC if the economy allows it. “Of course the WTCC is attractive. If the economy allows it would be great fun to drive at least one race, but right now STCC is the main goal,” Mattias said.
