Volvo team changes name

It is now official that the STCC Volvo team changes owner. Janne “Flash” Nilsson, as we earlier reported, leaves Volvo. Earlier part owner Christian Dahl now takes over the team which changes name from Flash Engineering to Polestar Racing Ab. Polestar continues the co-operation with Volvo in the STCC.

“It is a good deal which gives many new opportunities with Volvo. To take over Sweden´s biggest and most succesful team is a challenge that I find very exciting,” Christian Dahl said.

Janne “Flash” Nilsson will continue within motorsport. Nothing official has yet been released on what Janne will drive this season. Speculations still reports that we will see him driving a BMW in WTCC or STCC. “I look forward to my most exciting season ever, this deal has opened many new doors for me, both as driver and as company owner,” Flash said.
