Audience will decide STCC future

The Swedish Touring Car Championship will conduct a similair investigation that FIA ran regarding the future of F1. Fans will get the chance to have their opinion brought to the STCC organisators on how they want the championship to develop.

“I think it´s very important that we get a picture of what the audience really think. It´s only then we can act powerful,” series organiser Staffan Svenby said.

Rumours have circulated during the season that STCC could switch from S2000 to their own rules with big and powerful V8´s.

“One of the main question is how the future for Swedish racing will look. Should it be connected to, when regarding the rules for the top class STCC, the WTCC or shall we try to find our own form that also perhaps suits our neighbour countries,” Staffan continued.

The investigation will start in about a week and will be found at the official website of STCC, STCC.se
