Huisman joins WCR BMW

Richard Göransson will get a good replacement at West Coast Racing this year. International touring car star Duncan Huisman will drive for WCR this season in STCC.

Huisman is an experienced touring car driver with one ETCC title, four Dutch titles and he won Nürburgring 24 hour and the Macau race last year.

– I come to Sweden to win, but with full respect for the task, Huisman said.

Team manager Dick Jönsson-Wigroth is very excited about his new driver.

– To win it takes three ingrediences, a good driver, a good car and a good team. We´ve probably got the best car, the team has shown what they´re capable of the last two years and BMW has given us Duncan Huisman. The other drivers will have to step on it, Jönsson-Wigroth laughs.

West Coast Racing will be, just as last year, a strong title contender with Huisman and Rudholm behind the wheels. The team has not announced yet if they will get two new BMW 320 E90.
