Tegelby enters Caran Cup

Tobias Tegelby is the newest confirmed privateer entry for STCC. The 33 year old racer will be the fourth driver in the privateer cup called “Caran Cup”. Tegelby will drive Carl Rosenblad’s previous racer from 2003.

– I have looked at STCC for a while now and when Caran Cup was started we saw our chance to enter STCC, Tegelby said.

Last season Tegelby drove a Super Touring Audi A4 Quattro in a long distance racing series.

– It will be a big change to go from four wheel drive and sequential gearbox to rear wheel drive and h-gearbox. I think you have to be quite humble when you enter STCC and Caran Cup. It will not be easy and our primary goal is to look, learn and test our way forward, Tegelby said.
