Another new engine for Engström

Tomas Engström will get a brand new engine for the coming race at Gelleråsen. JAS Engineering are co-operating closely with Engström Motorsport this year and provides the new engine. Engström now hopes that his engine troubles are over.
“We get the best engine there is”, Engström said.

So far Engström has blown three engines this season and spent over 1.5 million swedish kronor.
– Its part of the game, but it is a shame that we have lost very important points in the championship, Engström said.

The engine that Engström will use at Gelleråsen is repaired and tuned by JAS and is in the same spec’ as Giovanardi used in WTCC – Brazil when he was fastest.
– It is newly repaired and is the best one avalible from JAS. I hope it will last a 40 minute race this time, Engström said.
