No DTC final for Simonsen

There will be no appearance for Andreas Simonsen in the DTC final. Simonsen won a seat with Volvo Polestar in that race after winning the STCC support class S60 Challenge. The reason for Simonsen not being able to drive the DTC race is his age.

Dansk Automobil Sports Union requires the drivers to be over 18 years, Simonsen is only 17. Simonsen was saddened by the news but announced that he accepts the decision and understands that it is the rules.

Volvo Polestar will compensate him in some way that is not settled yet. Simonsen will still have work to do, this week he will test for another STCC team.
