Andersson has bought Thompson’s Alfa

Mattias Andersson will drive James Thompson’s Alfa Romeo 156 in the Swedish Touring Car Championship 2008. This is the car that the Brit finished third with in the WTCC 2007.
“This is the newest car they made and for sure the car has been updated since my old car was build,” said Andersson.

Andersson finished tenth in the STCC 2007 with a third place as best position. The Swede has driven his Alfa Romeo 156 for many years now and is looking positive at the coming season.

“We will have engineers present at the STCC-races from N-Technology who will help us finding the right settings. That is worth a lot,” said Andersson.

N-Technology this year switches to Honda from Alfa Romeo in the WTCC, but will still support Andersson and his Alfa Romeo in 2008.
