First test for Swedish Chevrolet team

Chevrolet Motorsport Sweden tested together with the Chevrolet WTCC-team in Spain yesterday. The teams ran two days at the Guadix-track with Norwegian Thomas Schie and Nicola Larin present.
“It is great to be on track again after the long winter break. The test has been successful and the team has worked methodically and professionally so that I can get as much driving as possible,” said Schie.

The Guadix-track is according to the team similar to the Swedish track and very suitable to test on.

“The track suits us very good as it has both quick sweeping bends but also very tight corners. We have got a lot of data from this test and I am very pleased with the result,” said team boss Börje Wessman.

Except for factory Chevrolet-driver Larini, reigning WTCC-champion Andy Priaulx was also present during the test with the RBM-team. According to the Swedish Chevrolet-team Schie was matching the times of not only Larini, but also Priaulx.

“That Schie got in to the driving of the car so quickly is very inspiring for us all. The times that we put on track indicates that we have good speed in both the car and our driver,” said team owner Nicklas Karlsson.
