STCC presents NGTC rule suggestion for 2012
The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship organizers has presented a suggestion for a modified version of the British rules NGTC to be introduced in STCC 2012.
“We have for a while back had a ready suggestion for the new regulations in 2012. We have chosen to reveal the suggestion in order for everyone to be able to review it,” said STCC MD Bob Huzell.
The BTCC organizers revealed the first prototype NGTC car, a Toyota Avensis, during the BTCC finale at Brands Hatch last weekend.
“The new regulations has been received very well in the UK and it was exciting seeing the new car in action,” said Huzell.
But the final decision for STCC and the new regulations for 2012 has not been taken yet. The organization is awaiting a suggestion from the team group TTA, a group consisting of the biggest STCC teams, before the final decision is taken.
