Privateer Claes Hoffsten back at Mantorp Park

Privateer Alfa Romeo driver Claes Hoffsten is going to be back in the STCC for the final race of the year at Mantorp Park.
“I am aiming for the podium of Semcon Cup [privateers],” said Hoffsten.

Hoffsten is going to face opposition from the other three STCC privateer drivers Andreas Ebbesson, Tobias Johansson and Joakim Ahlberg.

“I’ve had some really close fights with Ahlberg, but I don’t think I can match the pace of Ebbesson and Johansson,” said Hoffsten.

Hoffsten has not raced since the penultimate race of 2010 but is not closing the door for more STCC races next year.

“It would be nice to drive STCC next year. But right now, my plan does not go beyond this race weekend,” said Hoffsten.
