Preliminary 2012 calendar issued by STCC

The Scandinavian Touring Car Championship organizers has revealed a preliminary calendar for the 2012 season. The calendar features nine race weekends with start at Mantorp Park in May and season final at the trotting track Solvalla in September.

The calendar features one new track compared to 2011, Solvalla, but rumors suggest that the two TBA dates would include Sturup Raceway and an airport race at the Swedish city Östersund.

Three of the races, Gothenburg, the first TBA and the second Mantorp Park race, clashes with the new TTA championship calendar for 2012.
