BD Racing to field two cars for Diego Romanini and Carlotta Fedeli

BD Racing will field two cars for Carlotta Fedeli and Diego Romanini for the Italian round of the TCR International Series at Imola. The team returns to the championship after running Antonio D’Amico’s SEAT León Cup Racer at Monza in 2015.

The 37-year-old Romanini took part in selected races last year at the wheel of the Ford Focus ST run by Proteam Racing, with the Italian team struggling to make the Onyx-built car competitive. The Italian driver has also raced in the World Touring Car Championship and the European Touring Car Cup, also with Proteam, as well a frequent presence on the now defunct Superstars Series grid.

Fedeli took part in the highly competitive Italian Ibiza Cupra Cup in 2014 and 2015, while also making her debut in the Campionato Italiano Turismo Endurance last year in a SEAT León Cup Racer alongside eventual champion Valentina Albanese. This year the Italian competed in the season opener in both the Ibiza Cupra Cup and the Italian León Cup, finishing on the podium in the latter at Adria.

Imola will mark the debut of the 24-year-old driver in the TCR International Series, as she drives a current specification SEAT León TCR, while Romanini will drive a 2015-specification León Cup Racer.
