Peugeot Sport confirm David Pouget as test driver for 308 TCR programme

Peugeot Sport has confirmed 2016 RCZ Racing Cup champion David Pouget as official test driver for the development programme of the new Peugeot 308 TCR.

The 39-year-old finished sixth in the 2017 Peugeot 308 Racing Cup for GPA Racing with two podiums.

Peugeot is currently developing the TCR version of the 308 Racing Cup model, including further development of the 1.6 litre turbocharged engine for it to be more competitive compared to the 2.0 litre turbocharged engines of its rivals.

The French manufacturer is cooperating with Citroën Racing in the development of the TCR version, part of the new combined Motorsports Centre of Excellence which also includes DS Performance.
