Gabriele Tarquini, Nicola Larini join Target for VLN outing

Target Competition has announced that experienced pair Gabriele Tarquini and Nicola Larini will be part of its line-up for the opening round of the new VLN series this weekend at the Nürburgring.

The team will run a pair of Hyundai i30 N TCRs in the four-hour long race, with Manuel Lauck and Jae Kyun Kim completing the line-up.

Tarquini and Larini last joined forces some 15 years ago when part of the Alfa Romeo assault on the European Touring Car Championship in 2003 – with Tarquini lifting the title and Larini taking fourth.

In total, well over 150 cars will take part in the race around the fearsome Nordschleife, with other TCR entries including three Opel Astra TCRs, an Audi RS 3 LMS, a Peugeot 308 Racing Cup and two Cupra TCRs.
