Albin Wärnelöv and Experion Racing back for the 2018 STCC season
Albin Wärnelöv will continue driving for Experion Racing Team in the 2018 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season.
The team will field the same Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR as last year and has recruited a new chief engineer in the form of Torbjörn Krondahl.
”Torbjörn has the experience we need to reach the next level in the development of our team and to give me the conditions to get more from the capacity of the car,” said Wärnelöv.
”We had a varied debut season last year with some nice highlights with fourth as best qualifying result and fifth as best race result. I am really motivated and inspired to reach the next level together with Torbjörn.”
Wärnelöv, who finished 14th overall last year in what was his maiden STCC season, becomes the so far 17th confirmed driver for the 2018 STCC season.
