Dan Lloyd fastest in Saturday warm up session at Silverstone

WestCoast Racing’s Dan Lloyd was fastest of all in the 30-minute warm up session at Silverstone, outpacing Howard Fuller’s Sean Walkinshaw Racing Honda Civic with just under five minutes to go in the WestCoast Racing Volkswagen Golf.

The former TCR International Series driver was over half a second quicker than Fuller, with Lewis Kent in the Essex & Kent Motorsport Hyundai i30 N TCR the only other car within a second of his time.

Andreas Bäckman was fourth fastest in the second of WestCoast’s Volkswagens, with Aiden Moffat fifth in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR, while team-mate Derek Palmer didn’t take to the circuit due to an injector issue.

The two cars that missed yesterday’s three test sessions were out on circuit, with Darelle Wilson 12th in his Vauxhall Astra TCR, 4.8 seconds off the pace, with Olli Kangas in the LMS Racing Cupra TCR tenth fastest overall.
