Ashley Seward Motorsport expand to three Alfa Romeos for 2020

Ashley Seward Motorsport has confirmed it will put three Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR cars on the 2020 TCR Australia grid.

“There’s a lot of interest in TCR, and we decided to pounce on the new cars as soon as they became available,” said Ashley Seward, team owner.

“The hype around the category has been really strong, especially from junior category drivers looking to make their first step into touring car racing.”

The two new cars will arrive shortly to Australia and the team is not ruling out entering at least one of them for the season finale at The Bend next month.

“The new cars land next week and if the right deals fall in place, we might enter one extra car at The Bend. We need to wait and see on that,” said Seward.

The team has fielded one Alfa Romeo this season for Dylan O’Keeffe who is placed second in the drivers’ championship behind already crowned champion and Hyundai driver Will Brown.
