LM Racing set to expand to three cars for 2021 with Louise Frost

LM Racing is set to expand its entry to three cars for the 2021 TCR Denmark series season, having made an agreement with Louise Frost.

“We have for long had ambitions to expand our team with one or more junior drivers and Louise Frost is a really good example,” said team manager Lars Morgensen.

“With this agreement we have shook hands to help secure the funds that Louise will need to enter into a final driving agreement for 2021.”

The team recently announced extended contracts with Jan Magnussen and Nicolai Sylvest.

The duo will drive a pair of new Cupra León Competición race cars while Frost would drive one of the team’s existing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR race cars, should they find the necessary funds.

“I have entered a collaboration with the goal to raise the money it takes for a full season. These are tough times for motorosport but there is optimism anyway. We are halfway home with the budget and the coming months will be decisive,” said Frost.

Frost finished second overall in the 2020 Danish Endurance Championship for Kia Denmark Racing and took part in selected races of the 2019 STCC TCR Scandinavia season.

“TCR is a really good starting point as the concept is global,” said Frost.

“I think that the Danish championship got off to a great start in 2020 with lots of good teams and drivers, and 2021 promises to be even stronger. I have no doubt at all that I at LM Racing will find the competence and security that I need in my development as a racing driver.”
