Hyundai reveal updated i30 N TCR

Hyundai Motorsport’s customer racing department has revealed the latest updated version of the i30 N TCR ahead of the 2021 season.

The main change to the car is a visual one to keep the car in-line with the updated road model, with the car benefiting from revisions to the front bumper and also featuring new LED highlights.

The chassis, engine and gearbox are all unchanged as part of the update.

“Forging strong links between our motorsport projects and the road-going Hyundai range has been a vital part of the Customer Racing departments since the beginning,” Hyundai Motorsport Customer Racing department operations leader Andrew Johns said. “When the latest updates to the i30 N were revealed it was important that we were able to match these changes with the i30 N TCR.

“The new front bodywork and lights are outward evidence of the tireless work performed by our support engineers in continually learning about and developing the car where they can. Results show it has always been a very strong contender in the TCR category.

“However, we never take the successes or our customers for granted, so are constantly working to keep them at the front of their championships.”
