FIA Motorsport Games returns for 2022 at Paul Ricard

The FIA Motorsport Games are back for 2022 at Paul Ricard in France, having been postponed twice after the inaugural event in 2019 due to the COVID pandemic.

“Participation in the FIA Motorsport Games offers myriad benefits for everybody, from grass-roots competitors to elite athletes,” said Mohammed Ben Sulayem, FIA President.

“This truly international event unites the global FIA community and allows participants to proudly fly their national flag.”

TCR will again be included for the Touring Car discipline, as during the inaugural event in 2019 at Vallelunga in Italy.

That year saw Klim Gavrilov securing the inaugural touring car title for Team Russia, a team that will not be able to take part this year’s FIA Motorsport Games due to the ban connected to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The 2022 edition of the FIA Motorsport Games will take place on October 26-30.
