19 cars entered for inaugural Bathurst International

19 cars have been entered for the inaugural Bathurst International race, host of the 2022 TCR Australia season finale.

The race features just one international wild card in the form of Peugeot 308TCR driver Teddy Clairet, racing for Garry Rogers Motorsport.

Josh Buchan will switch to a new Hyundai Elantra N TCR for the season finale, currently placed fourth overall.

Honda driver Tony D’Alberto heads the standings for Wall Racing, 46 points ahead of Garry Rogers Motorsport driver Jordan Cox.

The three races of the season finale will award more points than usual. Race 1 and 3 will award 75 points compared to the usual 50. Race 2 will award 60 points which is up from 40.

The season finale starts on Friday with practice, followed by qualifying and the first race on Saturday while Sunday hosts the final two race heats of 2022.
