Wall Racing expands to three Hondas with Will Harris

Wall Racing will field three Hondas for the final two race weekends of the 2023 TCR Australia season as Will Harris joins the team.

Will Harris is brother to Brad Harris who claimed his first win for the team during the previous round at Queensland Raceway.

“I’ve obviously been watching Brad closely since he joined the TCR field and it’s been hard to watch from the sidelines,” said Harris.

“It’s incredibly competitive and the chance to get out there with my brother and join the field was too good to pass up. We’ll be in the same machinery and in a great team like Wall Racing so it’s something I think we are both looking forward to.”

Will. Harris has previously raced in Australian Improved Production and the Mazda RX88 Cup, just as his brother.

“Traditionally we’re both evenly matched so I’m confident that having seen how Brad has gone, we can both be on the pace in Sydney and at Bathurst later this year,” said Harris.

“It’s a great time to join the team and the category with the World Tour rounds bringing so much international talent. I can’t wait!”

The brothers will race alongside Wall Racing regular Tony D’Alberto.

“We’re really excited to have William join his brother for Sydney and Bathurst later this year,” said team owner David Wall.

“The pair have raced each other for a long time, they’re both very competitive and come from similar racing backgrounds so we’ve got no doubt that William will get up to speed as quickly as Brad has.

“As we saw in Queensland, he’s become an outright contender in just a few rounds so it’s an exciting prospect.

“The new Honda Civic Type R FL5 will arrive after Sandown but within plenty of time for Sydney and Bathurst and the World Tour rounds this November. We’re excited to get Tony in that car and see how we go against the best in the world. It’s an exciting time for the team to be going to three cars.”
