Tony D’Alberto confirms 2024 programme

Former TCR Australia champion Tony D’Alberto will return to the series in 2024 after securing further support from Honda Australia.

D’Alberto, winner of the 2022 title, will continue to race the new Honda Civic FL5 that was introduced into the series this season, with the car being run as usual by Wall Racing.

Having made his first appearance in the new Honda at Sydney Motorsport Park, D’Alberto scored a dominant pole position alongside the TCR World Tour regulars at Bathurst before taking a podium finish – and TCR Australia win – during the three races.

“It’s fantastic to continue with the great support from Honda Australia for the 2024 TCR Australia Series,” he said. “We have achieved some amazing results over the journey, including winning the title in 2022 and finishing second on two other occasions.

“The 2024 season is shaping up to be very competitive, as it always is in TCR, so I’m looking forward to getting back into it for the first round at Sandown.”
