Harris brothers confirm 2024 TCR Australia season with Wall Racing

Brothers Brad and Will Harris have confirmed their entry to the 2024 TCR Australia season, driving a pair of Honda Civics for Wall Racing.

Brad Harris will drive the new Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR which Néstor Girolami drove during the Australian TCR World Tour rounds this year.

“I learnt the ropes last year, and now we’ll see what we can do,” said Brad.

“We knew the Gen two car from Honda would be an upgrade, and we had a great opportunity to buy the car before it was brought over for Nestor (Girolami) to race in the final two rounds. We learnt a lot from Nestor across the World Tour rounds.

“I wasn’t expecting 2023 to go as well as it did, especially at Queensland Raceway, that was a bit of a shock to the system. We’re still learning a lot, particularly in qualifying, so it’s just a case of trying to put it all together in 2024 and hopefully it comes together nicely.”

Will Harris will continue driving the Honda Civic Type R TCR FK7 with which he finished 17th overall this season after only taking part in the final two race weekends.

“There’s plenty more left in the car and the driver,” said Will.

“The more laps you do, the more confident you get. By mid-season I think we should be on the ball. It’s great to learn and work with Brad, especially on the data side which is new to both of us. Working as a team is the best way forward, even with a little brotherly rivalry.

“Having the experience of David Wall and Tony D’Alberto is more than helpful, being able to learn on their knowledge and just ask all the questions. Bring it on, I can’t wait.”
