Harry Bloor inks Honda deal for 2026

Harry Bloor will return to the TCR UK Championship in 2026 after inking a deal to join series newcomers DTR.

Bloor will be at the wheel of a Honda Civic FL5 TCR for what will be his second season, having competed in both a Hyundai i30 and Cupra Leon this year.

The youngster scored a best finish of fifth en-route to eleventh in the standings.

“I’m really excited to be returning to TCR UK with DTR,” he said. “Last year was all about learning, coming straight from karts into touring cars, and I feel like I made good progress as the season went on.

“Getting a P5 at Croft was a real highlight and showed what we’re capable of. Having the support of JAS Motorsport is fantastic and gives us real confidence in the programme, and with a new car and a proper testing plan in place, I’m looking forward to building on what we started and continuing to move forward.”

DTR Team Principal Darryl Taplin was pleased to confirm Bloor as the first driver for the programme.

“We’re really happy to have Harry on board for the upcoming TCR UK season,” he said. “He showed a lot of promise during his rookie year and impressed with how quickly he adapted to different TCR cars.

“This programme is all about development and progression, and we’re excited about the future and looking forward to working closely with Harry as he continues to grow as a driver.”
