Marco Butti joins Monlau Motorsport in TCR Europe

Marco Butti has completed Monlau Motorsport’s three-car programme for the 2026 TCR Europe season, joining already confirmed team-mates Viktor Andersson and Adam Shepherd.

Butti raced for MM Motorsport in TCR Europe last year and fought for the title until the season finale when he dropped down to finish fifth overall.

“This year, the goal is to be competitive from the very first race alongside the team,” said Butti.

“We come to work at the highest level of professionalism and responsibility, and we’re aiming for big achievements and to have a consistent and competitive season.”

The 20-year-old raced a Honda last year, as he did in the FIA TCR World Tour in 2024, and will switch to a Cupra for this season.

“My initial feeling with the CUPRA is positive,” said Butti.

“It’s different to what I’ve driven before, so it requires a period of adaptation. The car suits my driving style well and that there’s still a lot of potential to unlock.”
