René Povlsen joins ALM Motorsport in TCR Spain

René Povlsen is going to join ALM Motorsport for the 2026 TCR Spain season and continue to drive a Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR.

“I’m excited to announce that I will be with ALM Motorsport in TCR Spain this year,” said Povlsen.

The Danish driver finished eighth overall in the Spanish championship last year for TPR Motorsport and finished fifth overall in the now defunct TCR Denmark series.

ALM Motorsport fielded two Hondas in TCR Spain last year for Estonian drivers Sten-Dorian Piirimägi an Sven Karuse.

TCR Spain starts next weekend at Jarama and Povlsen is the so far only confirmed entry.
