Andersson rejoins SP Competition for Inje Speedium alongside Comte and Vernay

Viktor Andersson is going to rejoin SP Compétition for the FIA TCR World Tour races at Inje Speedium in South Korea as the French team expands to three Cupras.

“It’ll be exciting to be part of,” said Andersson.

“The track looks really cool. We have a super-strong line-up, and I think we’ll have the possibility to fight with Geely and Hyundai. My target work together with the team to get strong results.”

The Swede joined the team for the previous round at Vila Real to replace the injured Jean-Karl Vernay and made a strong impression by finishing on the podium after handing second place to team-mate Aurélien Comte at the finishing line of Race 2.

Andersson is going to race alongside regular driver Comte in South Korea and Vernay, who returns for the first time since the Misano season opener back in May following his injury.
