Aiden Moffat reinstated as race one winner at Silverstone

Aiden Moffat has been reinstated as the winner of race one at Silverstone in the British Touring Car Championship.

The Power Maxed Racing driver had dominated proceedings, leading every lap but was handed a five-second time penalty late on for exceeding track limits one too many times.

Moffat originally dropped to fourth, promoting his team-mate Mikey Doble to first place, however following an appeal he has moved back to first place.

That means that team-mate Doble now moves to second place, and Tom Chilton to third. Moffat is now the 11th different winner of the season.
