Mike Conway will pair up with Taz Douglas at this year’s Gold Coast 600 at Surfers Paradise. The British IndyCar driver will be competing for the first time in the Championship, and is the seventh IndyCar regular to be confirmed for the event.
The 29-year-old will drive for the Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport team in their #30 Holden Commodore VE II, sharing the car with series rookie Taz Douglas, who’s in his first full season in the V8 Supercars top category.
“I’m very excited to be racing for Lucas Dumbrell at Surfers this year and want to thank them for the opportunity,” said Conway.
“It will be my first time driving a car like that so I can’t wait to get behind the wheel in October!”
