Roberto Colciago fully recovered and back in action at Zhejiang

M1RA has announced that Roberto Colciago will be back at the wheel of his Honda Civic Type-R TCR at the next round of the TCR International Series in Zhejiang.

The 49-year-old had to skip the Thai round at Buriram due to not having recovered from a broken rib sustained in the second race crash at Oschersleben back in July.

“I’m ready for China. It’s a new track for the whole field, and I’m very motivated to collect as many points as possible. I believe I haven’t lost anything yet, and I can still fight for the championship,” said a motivated Colciago.

“I have done everything to aid my recovery, for example I also tried alternative medicine like magnet therapy. I hope to be fully healthy in China.”

The Italian lies fourth in the championship table with 145 points, 34 behind team-mate and leader Attila Tassi, with two rounds left and 110 points still in play.

The Chinese round of the TCR International Series will take place from the 6th to the 8th of October.
