Enrico Bettera returns to TCR Italy with Pit Lane Competizioni

Enrico Bettera has been confirmed for the full season in TCR Italy, driving a Pit Lane Competizioni Audi RS 3 LMS equipped with a sequential gearbox. After occasional appearances in the Italian as well as the International Series, the Italian is back with the championship-winning team.

“I am pleased to stay with the team and race the full season in the TCR Italy,” said Bettera, who contested the full 24H TCE Series last year. “The level of the championship has been much improved since 2016 and I hope I can be among the top runners.”

Bettera will also make a few appearances on the European stage with the same car, although it hasn’t been confirmed yet which races he will contest.

“My wish is to make a few appearances in the TCR Europe Series too. We’ll see later on which ones.”

Bettera has one TCR Italy race win to his name, having won in the 2016 season finale at Monza.
