Five rounds for 2027 TCR Italy campaign

TCR Italy will comprise of five events in 2027 after confirmation of the calendar for next season.

Each event will once again run as part of the ACI Racing Weekends, with the calendar designed to provide drivers with the chance to also compete in TCR events elsewhere.

Alongside the calendar announcement, WSC will provide the 2026 TCR Italy champion with entry fee and tyres to take part in the Italian event of the 2027 TCR World Tour.

The driver who best embodies the spirit of the TCR concept, as well as the winner of the TCR Italy 2026 Under 25 classification, will be offered entry fee and tyres to race in the Italian round of the 2027 TCR Europe Championship.

“Strengthening our collaboration with WSC and Marcello Lotti is an important step towards building a solid future for TCR Italy,” Mario Isola, General Director of ACI Sport, said.

“We want to give the championship an increasingly stronger structure, listening to the needs of teams and drivers while further opening it up to international exchange. TCR Italy remains a highly valuable series, also thanks to its strong connection with production cars, the same models that fans can find at dealerships.

“Our goal is to ensure continuity, growth and new opportunities for everyone involved. Together with WSC, we want to build this path with a long-term vision.”
