Volkswagen Motorsport deliver Golf for TCR Australia

Volkswagen Motorsport has delivered a Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR to Melbourne Performance Centre, the official motorsport agent for the Volkswagen Group in Australia, for the inaugural TCR Australia season in 2019.

The car is available for potential customer teams in Australia alongside a previously delivered Audi RS 3 LMS.

“There has been great interest since its announcement, but nothing beats having a car in the workshop that people and come and look at,” Lee Burley, Managing Director, Melbourne Performance Centre.

“We’re looking forward to the first customer coming along, put their hand up and take this one onto the track.”

TCR Australia has two entries confirmed so far, with TCR Australia director Matt Braid saying interest is building.
