TCR Bathurst 400 set for 18 car entry

A total of 18 cars are set to compete in the inaugural TCR Bathurst 400, which will bring the curtain down on the 2021 TCR Australia Championship season.

Three races of 21 laps, the longest races in the series to date, will take place at part of the festival of motorsport taking place at Mount Panorama with the entry headed by Chaz Mostert.

Mostert won all three races at Bathurst earlier in the campaign and is hot favourite to take the title, although Luke King, Josh Buchan, Nathan Morcom and Aaron Cameron all retain a mathematical chance of lifting the crown.

Having split with Ash Seward Motorsport earlier in the season, Jay Hanson switches to Melbourne Performance Centre with his Alfa Romeo ahead of his entry with the team in a new Audi in 2022, with ASM not featuring on the entry for the final meeting of the year.

Alongside Christopher Mies, one other driver will be making his debut in the series with Keegan Brain in a second Volkswagen Golf entered by Purple Sector with support from Melbourne Performance Centre.
