Jenson O’Neill-Going to make TCR UK debut in a Subaru WRX STi TCR

Jenson O’Neill-Going is going to make his TCR UK debut in the season finale at Brands Hatch as the youngest ever driver in the championship, driving the outdated Subaru WRX STi TCR.

The 16-year-old, who has raced in the Fiesta Junior Championship for the past two years, is going to drive for Jamsport Racing, a team headed by Jenson’s father Jamie Going.

“I’m very proud to see Jenson make his debut in TCR UK as he looks ahead to the next step in his motorsport career. Being the youngest driver on the grid will provide a further challenge as he learns about the Subaru during a race weekend,” said Jamie.

“We chose the Subaru for the season finale, remembering its following as a favourite amongst the fans, so it will be great to see it back in action once again.

“There is no pressure on Jenson, Brands Hatch is all about him gaining experience and being part of the TCR UK Paddock.”

The last time the Subaru featured in TCR UK was during the 2022 season, driven by Ant Whorton-Eales at Jamsport Racing with an eighth-place finish as his best result.
