Max Hart to make TCR UK return
Max Hart will make a return to the TCR UK grid in 2026 alongside his previously confirmed drive in TCR Europe.
Whilst the Irish driver will be competing for the ALM Motorsport team in his European programme, the entry into TCR UK will see him join forces with the new Hall’s Racing team – partnering former BTCC racer Max Hall at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type R FL5.
Hart returns to the UK series for the first time since 2022 when he finished eighth in the standings with Jamsport, having since gone on to race in Asia before joining the TCR Europe grid last year.
The addition of a second Hall’s Racing entry means four of the new Honda models will now feature on the grid in 2026.
“I’m super excited to be racing in TCR UK this year, as a JAS Supported driver, racing for Hall’s Racing,” he said. “I love racing in the UK, and it’s great to be racing on the best circuits in the country.
“It’s very clear that the championship has moved on massively since I last competed here, however, as a driver, I have also made big strides in my career, and I’m confident ahead of my return.
“It’s a great honour to be representing JAS and Honda in the latest stage of my career, and I’m looking forward to seeing what I can do with the Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR. During my time away, I’ve added some great achievements to my CV but also done a lot of travelling, so it will be a bit easier this year as I compete in the UK and Europe.
“My goal for 2026 is clear: go out and win the TCR UK Drivers Title.”
