Honda Racing Team JAS’s new Honda Civic will be entered as a nationally homologated car for the final three rounds of the season, rather than a formally FIA WTCC specification entry like the Chevrolets, SEAT, Ford and BMWs in the championship.
Fredy Barth and André Couto have been entered for the season finale at Macau for the SUNRED Engineering team, with Couto driving the team’s self-built engined car, and Barth the new SEAT Sport engine. Several local drivers have also been entered for the race in older spec cars.

Darryl O’Young will not take part in the final three rounds of the WTCC with Special Tuning Racing due to budget reasons. The Hong Kong driver had signed up until the final three rounds with the team.
Tiago Monteiro picked up two sixth place finishes on his last weekend for SEAT in the WTCC. The Portuguese-driver will return to a factory team for the first time since 2009 with Honda from Japan.
Tom Boardman enjoyed his best pair of races, finishing in the top ten in both races in the Special Tuning Racing SEAT León WTCC, in his third race with the new ORECA-developed 1.6 litre turbocharged engine.
