Jan ”Flash” Nilson completes first test at Karlskoga

Jan ”Flash” Nilsson has completed his first proper test at Karlskoga ahead of his Scandinavian Touring Car Championship comeback.
”I can’t remember the last time I was happy as I have been today. It was awesome to drive the car. The car is really fast and a challenge to drive, this is what motorsport is about,” said ”Flash”.

The double STCC champion completed a full day of testing at Karlskoga behind the wheel of Team Tidö’s third Saab 9-3.
”It was clear that Jan enjoyed driving a car again and you can tell that he has driven a lot in the past. It didn’t take that much time for him to get back in it again,” said team owner David von Schinkel.

”Flash” has gathered a number of team members from his former team Flash Engineering to work with him for the two races this year.
”We work really well together and we have been around each other more or less since 2001. I feel well taken care of in the team and it is going to be great to resume my cooperation with my former team manager Johan Kvick and engineer Joakim Zetterström,” said ”Flash”.

Team Tidö is going to field three cars in the final two races at Solvalla and Mantorp Park for ”Flash” and regular drivers Richard Göransson and Roger Samuelsson.
