Volvo 1-2 in first Knutstorp test

Volvo drivers Thed Björk and Fredrik Ekblom occupied positions one and two during the first test session of the STCC weekend at Knutstorp. Björk lapped the circuit fastest with 58.307 and was a mere 0.095 seconds faster than team mate Ekblom.

Dacia Dealer Team driver Mattias Andersson continues to show strong form and was third fastest in this session, 0.215 seconds from Björk.

Championship leader Fredrik Larsson was fourth fastest for BMW Dealer Team WestCoast Racing, lapping 0.663 seconds slower than championship rival Björk.

Saab driver Emma Kimiläinen was fifth fastest ahead of Kia duo Linus Ohlsson and Mattias Lindberg.

BMW driver Philip Forsman was forced to remain in the pits after completing just five laps due to a small fire in the car.

The second test session starts just ten minuts after the first.
