Kangaroo escapes unhurt at Bathurst
During last weekends race at Mount Panorama, an uninvited guest caused some scary moments for some drivers. A kangaroo had found his way to the track and was nearly collected by the passing racecars.
However, somehow everybody was able to avoid the animal, so no one was harmed. All cars were able to continue their way, although some had to take a trip through the grass to do so.
It was not the first time a kangaroo had found it’s way to the track in Bathurst. In 2004, during the Bathurst 500 race a kangaroo was hit by Russell Ingall on his climb onto the mountain. The animal was killed instantly. This time, this kangaroo had more luck.
Have a look at the video of the incident from last weekend.
