Team Vodafone unveil new Holden’s

Team Vodafone has unveiled it’s new car for drivers Jamie Whincup & Craig Lowndes, as well as confirming Steve Owen & Mark Skaife for the endurance events.

The 2008-2009 champions will make the dramatic switch from the ‘blue oval’ to the ‘red lion’ for the first time in their short V8 Supercars history.

Craig Lowndes, who won the championship three times with rival Holden team, HRT, said:
“I am really looking forward to the start of this season”.

“Knowing I have always had my best results in a Holden definitely gives me some added confidence.”

Reigning champion, Jamie Whincup is also relishing driving the new car:
“Like Craig, I also started my career with Holden and although I haven’t won a race with the lion yet, I have set my goals high. To win a championship with both manufacturers will be the motivation we need to do the job,”
