Dunlop new lead sponsor for Richards

FPR have unveiled new title sponsorship for the #6 FPR Ford Falcon of Steven Richards, with Dunlop Super Dealer now the main branding on the car.

Dunlop is the sole tyre supplier in the championship, but will feature increased exposure with the full liveried Ford.

Castrol has been the primary sponsor on Richards Ford Falcon since he joined the team in 2007 – but with Castrol moving to be primary sponsor on Greg Murphy’s Paul Morris Motorsport prepared Holden, Castrol’s branding is reduced to co-sponsor.

Dunlop’s on the otherhand, increases to full naming rights sponsor on the Ford Performance Racing car of Steven Richards, as he moves into his fourth season with the team:
“I’m definitely looking forward to the new season; I’m expecting the Dunlop Super Dealer FPR Falcon will be a contender this year.”

The team also recently confirmed that Luke Youlden & James Moffat will join Steven Richards & team mate Mark Winterbottom for the endurance events at Phillip Island and the Bathurst 1000km races this year.

“We believe we have signed the two best drivers that aren’t currently driving full time in the main game; this will allow us to be flexible with our combinations when it comes time to decide on pairings for the endurance events,” said Team Principal, Tim Edwards.
