Bouvy & Kelders win race 1

Frederic Bouvy & Christian Kelders have won the first race of the 2010 Belgian Touring Car Series.

Their Renault Megane led from pole and defeated their closest rivals of the race, the BMW M3 of Steve Vanbellingen & Harry Stoeltie.

The new cars on the scene, the GC10 VW Scirocco based silhouette suffered electrical problems, and the new Volvo S60 of Radermecker and van de Poele retired as well.

Philip Steveny & Iain Dockerill’s Kia Pro_Cee’d finished in third place.

The Renault of Bouvy & Kelders will repeat the same exercise in race two, after securing pole for that race yesterday ahead of Vanbellingen & Stoeltie’s BMW.
